After the shooting, Lee Jae Wook talked about his perfect transformation from puppy Seol Ji Hwan in tvN's Search WWW to bad boy Baek Kyung in MBC's Extraordinary You. He said: "The moment I read the script, my first impression about Seol Ji Hwan was that he is a really gentle person. On the other hand, Baek Kyung was the opposite. From his tone to his school uniform fashion, I thought I should express it oppositely (from seol ji hwan's character). I completely reversed my mindset."

When he was asked what kind of person he is in real life, he replied: "I'm honestly not funny but I always try to be cheerful and have fun. Especially on set, since I'm the youngest, I always try hard to be the mood maker."

He was asked if he felt his popularity, he replied: "Just a year ago, If I go to my regular cafe shop, I would just sit quietly and enjoy my coffee like everyone else. Nowadays, if I go there, people will say 'It's Baek Kyung' 'It's Seol Ji Hwan' and ask for my autograph which made me feel it a little bit." 

He was asked if his family are happy with his popularity, He replied: "My mom and older sister are still amazed so they look back and forth at me in the TV and me in real life" 

He was asked when did he decide to become an actor, He replied: "I did a lot of part-time jobs sine my school days. I've tried a lot of things, but acting was the first thing that made me feel I was attracted to something and wanting to work hard. I attended acting classes for the first time in academy while I was preparing for the collage entrance exam and that's how I got this far. By working hard and seeing changes within myself, I wanted to make acting my job. I want to become an actor that always humble and have modest mindset."
